A fresh cut we snapped on the streets of SXSW.
#SXSW Hair - We ran into the band @Lovebettie on the streets of Austin. Their lead singer, Alexandra’s extreme hair (which we love!) caught our attention. Alexandra takes 15 minutes to do her hair in the morning. She gets her hair cut as needed, but never all at once. She also updates her color every two weeks or so.
Lovebettie definitely Rocks the Cut!
#SXSW Hair - Xavier fronts the Parisian rock band, Gush. His long hair and hat caught our eye but Gush’s music got us hooked.
#SXSW Hair - Short hair is a simple way for guys to beat the heat and cut down on hair maintenance/grooming. Nahir keeps it short to avoid ‘helmet head’ from his motorcycle helmet.
#SXSW Hair - We liked this classic, swept back style with the bright orange color on top to make it pop. The gold-rimmed glasses were also a cool touch.

Pompadours, side parts and facial hair on guys and undercuts and bright hair colors on women were some of the most recurring, rockin’ styles that caught our attention during our time at #SXSW. Keep an eye out for these styles in 2012.
#SXSW Hair - Alexander says he doesn’t do anything to his hair to achieve this style. Guess he’s just luck?
#SXSW Hair - Ilya is visiting from Amsterdam and was rocking a cool, swept back do’ and camo – a winning combo.
#SXSW Hair - Nia, Julia, Rena and Miranda aka Cherri Bomb is one of the hottest up-and-coming bands out of L.A. These girls had some of the most rockin’ hair we saw all day.
Michael’s do’ was a combination of a pompadour and a Mohawk and he rocks it with confidence.
#SXSW Hair - Pink hair! Bright colors are on trend here at South By.
Alexandre manages a new band we love called Backwords. He’s rocking a more even-lengthed do’ with shorter sides blended into more length on top (a recurring theme we’re seeing at SXSW) with a thick mustache to round out the look.
